Nicola Barber, Chartered Fellow (FCIPD), Chair of the CIPD NI Branch. Nicola is an experienced HR professional with more than 20 years senior experience in a range of industries and sectors. With a passion for learning, Nicola holds Master’s Degrees in HR and in Housing Studies and is a qualified Mediator, Coach and Mentor. Nicola is committed to voluntary and community work and has been on a Board with local Housing Associations for more than 12 years. Nicola has worked previously in social housing both in Northern Ireland and Scotland. Nicola is Chair of the Board and is a Member of the Audit, Risk & HR Committee

Brenda Morgan MBE has over 30 years’ experience of business development and commercial relationships in the tourism, travel and aviation industry. Brenda has worked with key stakeholders within the Travel and Tourism Industry reaching across the public and private sector and was elected on the council for the Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce and Industry for 8 years. She was awarded an MBE in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours List for her Services to Economic Development to Northern Ireland in 2016. Brenda is also a founding member and Chair of NI Tourism Alliance since 2018 and is Chair of the Audit, Risk and HR Committee.

Jane has worked in business and finance for over 20 years, currently Managing Director of The Elmfield Institute, an organisation supporting wellbeing in the private and voluntary sectors. Jane is a Member of the Finance Committee.

Brian is a Chartered Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) and Chartered Management Institute (FCIM) and has an MBA from the Open University. Brian has over 30 years’ experience in residential surveying in N Ireland and is the Regional Development Director for e.surv Chartered Surveyors, the largest firm of residential surveyors in the UK. He is also a Member of RICS NI Board and a Valuation member of the NI Valuation Tribunal. Brian is a member of the Development and Property Management Committee.

Bob has 33 years experience in the construction industry and is a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) since 2006. He also holds a Business Masters degree, with distinction, in Development and Innovation. For the past 21 years ago, he continues to work for Europe's largest public social housing provider, the Northern Ireland Housing Executive (NIHE), holding various technical management positions. Bob currently sits on the Development and Property Management Committee

Natalie Shortt has 18 years’ experience in the construction industry working as a chartered Quantity Surveyor and as a NEC Project Manager, across residential, commercial and infrastructure sectors for public and private clients. She currently works for Northern Ireland’s public transport operator Translink in the Contracts and Frameworks department. She is committed to tenant well being, affordable housing and sits on the Housing Management Committee.

Erin is an Anthropologist and Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing. She joined the housing sector through the Northern Ireland Housing Executive’s Housing Services Graduate Programme in Autumn 2023 and has embraced every opportunity to learn, grow and contribute. An active member of the CIH Futures group since starting her career, Erin is passionate about continuous learning and broadening her knowledge through new experiences and challenges. In her current role, Erin leads Graduate and Apprenticeship Programmes, championing the next generation of housing professionals and supporting the development of future talent across the sector. Erin is a member of the Housing Management Committee.
