NB Housing was formed in 2014 through the merger of Flax and Filor Housing Associations. NB Housing provides quality and affordable social housing throughout Northern Ireland.  With over 1050 properties, we provide sheltered housing for the over 55’s and general needs housing for families and single people and supported accommodation for 18-25-year olds at our Flax Foyer scheme.

We are seeking additional Board Members to ensure NB Housing has a balanced and representative committee of management of sufficient numbers and with the appropriate skills to deliver effective governance of the association. Our full Board meet up to 6 times per year with Sub Committees meeting 4 times per year.

  • Ø Would you like to volunteer some of your time to join our Board and help make a difference to the lives of people in need of social housing?
  • Ø Do you have experience in the public, private, community or voluntary sectors and knowledge of good governance?
  • Ø Do you have experience gained working in senior levels in any of the following areas: Finance, Development and Maintenance, Housing, Human Resources, Audit and IT?

If you have the necessary qualities, experience and can demonstrate a commitment to our corporate values, we would like to hear from you. A full induction programme will be given to all successful applicants. Whilst positions are unremunerated, reasonable expenses will be paid.
