Emergency Repairs

In the case of an emergency repair when the office is closed, call Fold Telecare on 0800 731 3081. A staff member from Fold will assess the repair by your description and decide if it qualifies as an emergency. If deemed an emergency they will pass your information to a contractor to attend to the repair.

Reporting a Repair

You can report a repair by:
  • Telephoning our Crumlin Road Office on 028 90 351131
  • Emailing us at repairs@nb-housing.org
  • Calling into either office at Gatelodge, 8 Flax Street, Belfast BT14 7EQ or 282-290 Crumlin Road, BT14 7ED
  • Or writing to us at Crumlin Road Office, 282-290 Crumlin Road Belfast, BT14 7ED

If you make contact by telephone when the office is closed and the repair is not an emergency, you can leave a message on the answering machine. This will be picked up on the next  business day. If the repair is an emergency and cannot wait until then, you need to ring Fold Telecare on 0800 731 3081 to report the repair. This number will also be on the answering machine message.

Repairs fall into 4 categories:
  • ICO, 4 Hrs
  • Emergency, 1 day (within 24hr of being reported)
  • Urgent, 4 Working Days
  • Routine, 28 Working Days
When reporting a repair you will need to provide your:
  • Name
  • Address
  • Telephone Number
  • Description of the repair

The contractor appointed to do the repair will normally make contact with you by phone prior to calling out unless otherwise agreed.
